In 2008, the youth were given the freedom to update the old basement fellowship hall. The basement went through a transformation and now it is called THE CAVE and the youth are the CAVE DWELLERS. CAVE stands for Christians Always Value Everyone.
We offer a youth program with gatherings on Wednesday and Sunday nights.
Youth Ensemble is a group of talented vocals and instrumentalists that practices is on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm in THE CAVE. All youth who like to sing, play instruments are good with sound equipment and laptops are encouraged to come and take an active or supportive role with this group. We perform in worship at different times of the year.
Wednesday Nights
There is a church dinner from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Family Activity Center (FAC). The youth normally gather at 6:00 just after the Youth Ensemble practice. Follow dinner the Junior High and Senior High youth groups gather in The CAVE to participate in a structured youth program that consists of discussion groups, bible study and spiritual formation. Junior High consists of 6th-8th Graders. Senior High consists of 9th-12th Graders.
Sunday Nights
We gather in The CAVE from 5:00-6:30 pm. A meal is provided. This is a time for the youth to gather together for some free time to connect with each other. Pastor Will and other volunteers lead the youth during this time. We don't meet every Sunday Night, so make sure to look at the bulletin and newsletters for the times we meet.
