Laughter, learning, friends, caring for others, giving, creativity, worship, and love are all key concepts woven throughout Trinity’s Children’s Ministries and put into action in our various activities.

          Sunday School classes for children are held at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. Classes are based on school grade. The Deep Blue Curriculum is used and incorporates videos, worksheets, Bible stories and songs to reinforce learning.

          Children in Action is our mission training group for 1^st – 5^th graders. Children enjoy lunch, learn about missions and participate in outreach activities in this popular program. Meetings are held once monthly in the Cave from 12:00-2:00. Contact Kim Orrock, Children’s Ministry Director, at children@mytrinity.org for a detailed calendar of activities.

 

          Kingdom Kids and Children’s Choir are held from 6:00-7:15 on Wednesdays. Children can attend both or just their favorite.

 

          Children dive deeper in the Bible on Wednesday evenings during Kingdom Kids. Classes are held in the classroom inside the nursery. 3^rd—5^th grade students meet from 6:00-6:30. Pre—K – 2^nd grade students meet from 6:45-7:15. A light snack is offered from 6:30-6:45.

           Children enjoy learning both traditional and contemporary songs during children’s choir. Classes are held in the banner room behind the sanctuary. Pre—K- 2^nd grade meet from 6:00-6:30. 3^rd-5^th grade meet from 6:45-7:15.

 

           Mommy’s Time Out is a Christian organization dedicated to equip mothers and children (infancy-elementary school) in their journey to be the best mothers possible. This group meets on Thursdays mornings from 9:30-11:30 in the Cave.

 

          We believe in the way in which we love and care for little ones lays a foundation for their faith and trust in God. Our safe and fun nursery cares for children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten during all Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday night programs.

 

          Our most exciting program of the year is Vacation Bible School! VBS is held the last full week of June from 9-12, Monday -Thursday, with a family wrap up event on Friday. Modern and relevant curriculum from Cokesbury is used to provide students with a week of learning, blessing, and fun.

 

          We have special events year round to enjoy friendship with one another and celebrate being a Christian! In March/April we have Easter activities to include an Easter Egg Hunt. In June there is Vacation Bible School. In August there is the blessing of the backpacks. In October we have a Fall Festival. In December we have a Birthday Party for Jesus and a Christmas Pageant.
